TV Show: Fringe

Fringe Science. It’s like nothing you’ve ever heard before.

Yes, I have never heard of Fringe Science, and I’m not too crazy about movies or TV shows that come in one-word titles and names of actors surrounded by little buzz. But considering a show like Fringe came from a guy like J. J. Abrams, I had a change of heart.

Stars Anna Torv, John Noble and Joshua Jackson, Fringe is a show about unexplained phenomena, and scientific inquiries that help to understand their occurrences and solve the problems they cause. It’s the most exciting TV series that debuted this year. Episode 1 pretty much says a lot about the rest of the show, so go check it out. Definitely worth a shot.

The pitch: All over the world, a series of apparent experiments collectively referred to as “the Pattern” (e.g., a newborn baby who rapidly ages and dies within a few hours, a bus full of passengers trapped in a strange substance like mosquitoes in amber) are occurring for reasons unknown. FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham, scientist Walter Bishop, and his son Peter are in charge of investigating these strange events to determine their source.

Satisfy your curiosity? I did mine, for a bit.
